REDEFINE THE FUTURE.

Rewrite the Play

Changing the narrative. Rewriting the story. Inspiring what’s next.

Rewrite the Play isn’t just another youth sports program — it’s a movement changing how young men see themselves, their future, and the power of discipline.

We combine athletics, mentorship, and real-life education to help athletes build confidence, character, and direction. Our mission is to show every player that their story doesn’t end with their circumstances but begins with how they choose to play the next down.

Founded by Kiara Stroud, a devoted mother and advocate for youth development, Rewrite the Play bridges the gap between home, the classroom, the community, and the field. Through workshops, exposure, and partnerships, we’re building a generation of athletes who lead with purpose — on the field and in life.

Our programs are designed to shape well-rounded young men — developing their mindset, discipline, and character through intentional guidance, mentorship, and exposure.

At Rewrite the Play, our approach focuses on developing the whole athlete — mind, body, and character. Through purposeful experiences, expert partners, and mentorship, we prepare young men to succeed both on and off the field.

Kiara Stroud is a mother, leader, and advocate who turned her personal story into a mission to change the narrative for young athletes and their families.

As a single mom raising a son whose father is incarcerated, Kiara experienced firsthand the challenges that come with balancing guidance, opportunity, and belief. Through those experiences, she learned that the right structure, support, and exposure can completely rewrite a child’s future.

Out of that truth, Rewrite the Play was born — a movement that bridges mentorship, athletics, and accountability to help young men see beyond their circumstances. Kiara’s passion now extends far beyond her own home; she’s building a community that equips athletes, mothers, and mentors to lead with purpose, resilience, and faith.
